Hi, Sawyer,Please forgive me! I don't have a tv but saw your first audition on the voice last night on my mac. I love blue grass and played a lot of fiddle when I was in my early teens in Nova Scotia. I am older now. I was pulled back into that whole ambience that I remember when I heard you sing a man of sorrows. Through out the evening I googled all your pieces and had a super evening marvelling as many do at your voice and delivery and also the choice of songs that I just love. Just before I woke up today I had an image flash up before me in my mind and it took me by surprise. I saw a cover of Time magazine and your face was on it but you were a lot older like early 40's, the title of the picture was "A MAN OF SORROWS"! I had a feeling that made me stop and wake up fully, the article that was written about you was about your life to that date and it was full of sadness and sorrow and how such a beautiful child so gifted seemed to have lived a life of the image of the songs that had been sung out of your mouth! It doesn't have to be that way I thought! Sawyer, can you write in the same vein of sound about other things that are not so dark, so that the words that come out of your mouth and echo through the air are not of pain and suffering but of love and health and happiness and prosperity. It is possible and I think you can do this although it goes a bit different from blue's. I know its different but you may make the cover of "Time" but the heading can be different and still reflect the words that you write from your wonderful life. The one you make and not echoes from the darkness of others. Sending you hope for your writing. Others may not agree with what I have said but it is your life and you will build it with your words and actions. Love and great happiness on your journey singing and writing x I have lived a sorrowful life but I have begun changing things with my words and they are bringing me all good things.
